torchwood magazine interview

gareth david-lloyd did an interview in the latest torchwood magazine. it's rather lame. he gives the same old bullshit lines that naoko mori did when they killed tosh. they did all they could with my character, we explored everything about the character, it was time for the character to die, it made sense in the storyline, blah blah blah. what a bunch of crap. i know the actors can't burn their bridges, but for fucks sake. there is no need to continue to blow smoke up their asses. especially when they haven't given you or your character the same courtesy.

there was SO much more they could/should have explored with ianto. he barely got any exploration at all! i can NOT believe that gareth or naoko were ACTUALLY pleased with how their characters were handled by tptb. naoko was constantly overlooked and wasted. and gareth was just beginning to get any decent airtime.

and what the fuck was the 'trust the writers' about? seriously. was it just more pimping of the show to stay in their good graces with hope for future job prospects? cuz that bit made no sense to me. trust them? trust them with what? with making more shit decisions? i'm not sure what his point was here.

god, i really need to let this go. but it's really hard when there's just so much ridiculous shit out there about it.

and i love gareth, i really do. but dude. wtf?
