long holiday weekend

ugh. i am so fucking glad to finally be home. was NOT planning on being away so long, but circumstances changed. now i feel all rushed and stressed without any downtime to myself tonight. i was supposed to be home yesterday :(

did get a lot done at the rents as planned tho, which is good, but really tired me out. damn i'm old. my parents are really beginning to annoy the hell out of me. i walk in the door and within 5 minutes i'm ready to leave. their interaction with each other, and my dad's treatment of my papa, and the fucking new dog, and mom's hearing aids NOT working, and and and... just make it so NOT fun or enjoyable. and, in fact, really really unpleasant. if it weren't for trying to get ready for the party, i would NOT be going down to visit.

also, i ate WAY too much this weekend, omg.

i thought i had lots to say (i do), but i'm too fucking angry and exhausted, so fuck it.

dragon*con 2009

so it was dragon*con this past weekend. gareth david-lloyd was there.

and apparently there were shenanigans. NAUGHTY shenanigans. naughty SEXIN shenanigans.

EDIT: it also made for an odd mix of my fandoms, since tom felton's name was also bandied about. well, they do say cons are crazy.
