not so good tv

watched the first two episodes of demons. it is REALLY bad.

main dude (ross jenkins!) is a terrible actor (actually they are all pretty shitty). his godfather has a HORRIBLE fake american accent that completely grates on me (plus the dude's a prick). and the story is just NOT GOOD.

now i have to break it to my cousin that i think it is awful when she thinks it is awesome. ah, well... to each his own.

now on to trinity. hopefully it won't be so sucktastic.

how i spent my weekend...

for a hermit like myself, i had quite the social weekend.

friday night i went to a chili cook-off with r (j couldn't make it this year either). they all picked on me AGAIN because it is apparently HILARIOUS to see how red my face gets when i am embarrassed. r called me his concubine at one point... nice. but i believe i am officially known as his second wife. there was a really really cute guy in charge of one of the games, and he was super super cute. yeah, he was cute.

saturday was our annual lunch at metzger's. i had SUCH a good time! but, of course, mom had to cut things short because she is one million times more socially inept than i am, and also CRAZY. i would have liked to hang out and talk for a lot longer, and was bummed when we realized "oh, are we leaving now?" me and my sister and my cousin totally could have sat there for hours having a NICE TIME. what the hell, mom? still, a totally fun and enjoyable day :)

today i went shopping with my sister, and then we went out to eat for YUMMY FOOD. it was awesome and yummy and delicious. i love my seester :)
