Doctor Who S5E7

Amy's Choice

this was a very un-Doctor Who type episode for me. of course, i'm only familiar with new who, so i could be wrong. this type of story is a common fixture in a lot of sci-fi shows and i tend not to enjoy them because they freak me out. dream lord guy is creepy as fuck.

i really like rory and i felt sorry for him. and, okay. seriously. why the fuck did they do that whole ponytail thing? why make him look so stupid? i found that annoying. i'm glad that, in the end, amy chose rory over the doctor (sort of) but did she really?

i dunno. this episode leaves me ambivalent.

the doctor saying that the dream lord was really him was pretty hardcore. dark doctor indeed.

also, i loved that it was snowing in the leadworth scenes. i just thought it was very pretty.
