OMFG! melanie and neil and mandy moore?? are you fucking kidding me??? my favorites all in one! and then an awesome song to boot! this was absolutely fucking AMAZING. love melanie, LOVE neil!, and love mandy moore. so thankful for this routine!

just listened to the second of the three new radio plays.

wow, that was really bad.

unit just hands over their state of the art sub to a completely untrained team? haha. i don't fucking think so.

the carly actress was kinda crap.

aww, ianto's speech about jack made me kinda teary eyed :(

jack's last line was fairly heavy-handed considering what i've heard about the new series. i really hope they let jack die if he truly is mortal. that has always been my biggest wish for doctor who and dear god i hope they let that happen. but they probably won't... torchwood does love to make jack suffer. poor bastard.

aww. jack's intro made me all nostalgic for the old days. "torchwood is ready" ha ha. the irony of that statement always cracked me up.

ianto, how i have missed you and your voice. it's so wonderful to hear you!

i miss the music as well.

so yeah, this was pretty terrible, but i enjoyed it and it made me smile. i certainly wasn't expecting that!

these craptastic stories and the awful acting are true torchwood and i love it :)

so, i think i'm actually going to listen to the three recent torchwood radio plays.

i've spoiled myself, and i think i can deal with it. maybe, heh.

i know i'm going to cry and i know i'm going to get really angry and annoyed. i know i'm being completely used and manipulated... i KNOW that.

but it's ianto, and i just can't not.

i will, however, be waiting until the weekend, once i've already seen harry potter (twice).

group 1 (broadway) - very cool. love miranda, sasha, chris and tadd.

sasha and alexander (contemporary) - lovely piece. sasha IS amazing. alex is good, but there is definitely something missing... a disconnect.

caitlynn and mitchell (samba) - this was a really good, sexy routine and they both did a great job. (how flippin cute is kristin chenowith?!?)

miranda and robert (broadway) - i really enjoyed this routine. miranda is awesome! robert was lacking a little bit in some of the lifts, tho.

melanie and marko (lyrical hip-hop) - omg i LOVED this! they both did such an awesome job and what a gorgeous piece! melanie is just a natural actor as well, i just completely believe her.

ashley and chris (jazz) - hmm. i kinda agree with nigel... and i LOVE sonja. i think they did well tho, and i still absolutely adore chris.

clarice and jess (fox trot) - this was nice and they did well, but it was kinda boring.

ryan and ricky (contemporary) - this really was beautiful. and this is why i love sonja. great job all around.

jordan and tadd (hip-hop) - this was so cute and funny. and they did great.

group 2 (contemporary) - what a wonderful concept for a routine. and beautiful music. love melanie so much.

i've been so excited about the new season! but i've been having to catch up on the weekends and such. love my summer show! i didn't catch whether or not these would be their partners until the top ten, or if they'll change every week.

jordan and tadd (african jazz) - i really liked this a lot. tadd did brilliant for a bboy and jordan is one of my faves.

sasha and alexander (contemporary) - i loved this. sasha is definitely one of my faves.

clarice and jess (broadway) - very cute! very broadway!

ryan and ricky (lyrical hip hop) - this was okay. it didn't do much for me.

caitlyn and mitchell[robert] (jazz) - our first injury of the season, poor kid. i love sonya's choreography and her music choices. caitly did really well, but my eyes kept going to robert because he's just so gorgeous!

miranda and robert (jive) - cute, but uncertain. crazy earring happenings were distracting. loved that last move tho!

missy and wadi (jazz) - this was pretty cool, but it felt a bit lacking in parts to me. not a big fan of hers, but i really like wadi.

melanie and marko (contemporary) - this was gorgeous! i loved it. melanie is one of my favorites and i really like marko as well.

ashley and chris (hip hop) - cute and fun, but not amazing or anything. really like chris.

iveta and nick (quick step) - brilliant song choice! nick is one of my favorites, he is too cute :) he did well for the dance of death. if these are the partnerships til the top ten then i'm kinda bummed for him, since i'm not a fan of hers :(

The Almost People

i still didn't enjoy the storyline this week, or most of the episode.

i guessed the doctors were switched right from the get go, so that wasn't surprising.

i guessed the two bad jennifers as well.

i did NOT guess that amy was actually a ganger. WTF? when did that happen? WTF?


tangent:

i stumbled upon the torchwood: miracle day trailer and decided to watch it. lol.

i love john barrowman, but god damn he is such a shit actor. also, baby with the blanket and ear muffs laughing while gwen's shooting at baddies... seriously? lol. and both jack and gwen's hair looked terrible. and where was rhys?

overall, i thought it looked pretty bad. so still not planning on watching it.

The Doctor's Wife

i wasn't too fond of the beginning of this ep, but once the doctor and the tardis started interacting, i LOVED it. how awesome was it to see them talk and interact and really communicate? so cool! and so sad :(

rory was brilliant, as always. STOP KILLING HIM DAMNIT! and he SO is the pretty one :)

also, "the only water in the forest is river" (which is river song, yes?). we'll see where that comes in to play in the future (hopefully).

okay, WHAT THE FUCK?

so is amy really pregnant? it was positive/negative so even the doctor doesn't know. is the little girl amy's daughter? but the little girl looked like a time lord regenerating. so is she the doctor? is amy the doctor's mother? ha ha. or is amy the mother of the little girl and the doctor is the father? so the little girl is a new time lord? a new "the doctor's daughter"?

seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?

if the little girl is the doctor, then the doctor kills himself? altho, it could have been ANYBODY in the space suit at that point in time, not necessarily the little girl anymore. way to totally NOT EXPLAIN that whole "dying" on the beach thing, people. WHAT THE FUCK?

poor rory. i don't know if amy is being honest with him or not. i love rory. but does amy?

and poor river. but why didn't she know that was the doctor's first kiss with her? doesn't she keep track in that little blue book? or is the whole him "dying" thing screwing with the timelines even more than normal? or does she really not always know where they are in their timelines? that would make sense since it IS completely confusing. EDIT 6: so was that river's last kiss with the doctor? so does she know she's going to die soon then? so sad :( EDIT 7: no, it couldn't be her last kiss, since i'm sure the doctor kisses her the last time he sees her before she dies, per her telling him in 'silence in the library' or whatever that ep was called.

also, is the silence gone now? did they leave? are they all being shot and killed by the human race from now on? is that the END of "the silence" story arc? do they remember the silence or not? did seeing the video break their little memory wipe trick on everybody? EDIT 3: apparently it is the silents (as in the plural of a silent, which is the name of the alien?)

so many questions, never enough answers! i love this flippin show, but it is so frustrating!

EDIT: oh, wait! but river felt sick after seeing the aliens too? is she pregnant? is the little girl hers and the doctors? and the photo was just auntie amy pond holding river and the doctor's baby?

EDIT 2: i have read that a lot of people think that the little girl is amy and rory's and that she is river song. and that she can regenerate because she was born on the tardis. how interesting! so then river would be a kind of time lord? and that's why she ends up connecting/marrying the doctor? and that's how the doctor knows her when she is younger and she first meets him? so then amy and rory would be her parents, but she doesn't know that? or she just hides it REALLY WELL. spoilers! grr argh.

EDIT 4: but if the little girl is river song (like some people are suggesting) but she isn't a time lord (because the doctor would have sensed that) but CAN regenerate, then how many regenerations does she have? which regeneration is river at now? and why didn't she regenerate when she died in 'silence in the library'? unless she only got the one regeneration, or was out of all hers at that point. and why WOULDN'T the doctor be able to sense that in someone? the ability to at least have regenerated once in their life. to have that energy inside them. i'm making myself a bit crazy thinking about this, heh.

EDIT 5: who was the woman in the children's home with the eye patch who said something like "no, she's just dreaming." what the fuck was that?

just found out this week that robert sheehan won't be in the next season of misfits. *sadface*

i'm totes bummed :(
