american idol top 10

went and got $3 burgers with r and j tonight. yum! after, we came back here and watched idol. i was surprised they stayed thru the whole thing, but it was fun :)

it was also kind of annoying. cuz it meant i was forced to actually WATCH most of it. usually i mute and do other things whenever anyone isn't actually performing. tonight i had to listen to ryan and the judges and the contestants yap back and blah blah blah. ugh. i talked thru a lot of it cuz i just stand listening to most of it!

matt - hate that song and he should've stayed behind the piano. not particularly great, but i still really like his voice.
kris - really liked this a lot. love his voice.
michael - bleh
lil - bleh
scott - bleh
megan - bleh
anoop - bleh (but nice voice)
danny - not too bad, but cheesy and slightly shouty
allison - love her voice, but she had horrible diction.
adam - i just can't get past not liking him or his voice. we thought he did an excellent fat elvis tho :)

EDIT: re-watched the performances on youtube (not watching, just listening) to get a better feel since last night it was hard to fully concentrate. matt was a bit off, kris sounded lovely, and i did NOT like adam no matter what they said. i do NOT like his voice, regardless of anything else.

EDIT for RESULTS: because american idol sucks ass and is random and inconsistent, i missed the results show. i don't know who was in the bottom three (internet much?) but i do know michael got booted. poor sap. he should have been better.
