Doctor Who S5E2

i'm a bit ambivalent about this episode. there were parts i really loved, and then other parts where i was kinda bored and/or annoyed.

i love both the doctor and amy. but the other characters in this ep were a bit iffy to me. again, i was ambivalent about liz 10. i found myself more rolling my eyes about her than actually liking and/or sympathizing with her. i think the idea was cool, but i'm not sure it was pulled off that well.

i also would have liked to see more use of the little girl. she was just kinda there as a prop or something.

my favorite part was the bit with the doctor and the water. the fish on the loose and having so many ideas at once making him forget was really funny and lovely.

so my sister is thinking of switching to sprint. i went with her yesterday to look at phones. she found one she really likes and she gets a discount on plans because of where she works. we asked the sales guy if we would be able to switch me to her account and use her discounted family plan, even tho i just signed a new 2-yr contract a week or so ago. he said yes!

that would mean that i would be paying twenty bucks less. which means i would only be paying ten dollars more than my previous plan. which would be AWESOME. but that's only if my sister does this, and she doesn't know for sure if she will or can.

but i am hopeful! cuz that would be really cool and financially helpful.

the one downside is that it wouldn't be MY account. and my ocd controlling personality doesn't really like that. i would much rather it be me in charge of everything and taking care of stuff. it makes me nervous otherwise. but still... cheaper. so i could deal with it. i think.

regardless, i'm trying not to get too excited, because it may not happen. but i can't help it. dumb thing to get excited about, but whatever.
