okay... i just can't seem to wrap my head around this.
TWO THOUSAND YEARS.
seriously.
was he in some kind of stasis or something? (i'm sure that's not the right word i'm looking for, but whatever. and yes, i know it was really 18 hundred and some years, but still).
how can he have perfectly normal mental and emotional capabilities after that? and it should fuck with his memories too.
but no. he just popped right up as if he'd only taken a 10 minute nap.
explain this to me people.
and another thing. what about aging? it was made perfectly clear at the end of Doctor Who S3E13 that jack WOULD age. obviously not at the same rate as 'normal' people. but i repeat...
TWO. THOUSAND. YEARS.
*****
and here's a question. does jack actually have magical healing ability? i thought it was just a cheesy fandom thing, but in Fragments, ianto says "you WERE bleeding" as if he is suddenly k-o-dokie.
hmm...
