mini movie review...
just watched The Holiday with kate winslet, jude law, cameron diaz and jack black. it was pretty bad. extremely cheesy and corny. definitely a chick flick. and lots of annoying things. like the girls driving each other's cars. hello? illegal! (edit: r tells me that i'm an idiot and this is not illegal. he says "have license, will drive." oh well). and the one part i was really looking forward to wasn't really even in the darn movie. i hate how the trailers do that to you. damn that editing. plus, it was such a hollywood loving hollywood movie. i HATE that. such egos they all have. anyhow, not good.
EDIT: and the lame so-called "end" had NO resolution. nice cop out.
EDIT2: a plus? john krasinski was in the beginning for about 2 seconds. i LOVE him!
also...
i only JUST now realized (like 5 minutes ago, literally) what the past two days were. i mean, i obviously KNEW it was january 9th and 10th, but it only JUST NOW hit me what that meant. i actually think that is pretty fucking awesome. i never thought about it AT ALL. no clue! so yeah, i'm pretty pleased about that. go me :)
also also...
i had to wake up early to move my car so the snow plow could do it's job. went to target to waste time, and spent too much money that i don't have. bought two cd's i have been wanting forever. kings of leon 'only by the night' and missy higgins 'on a clear night'. hah! i just realized how similar the titles are. funny. i have obviously become completely unobservant in my old age. anyhow, i am a little bit in love with kings of leon right now. have been a fan since 'the bucket'. really want their other albums now.
also^3...
it is past midnight, and they are snowblowing the sidewalks. WTF?
